Growing up in Tuam, listening to The Saw Doctors, the thought of working with them never crossed my mind, mainly because by the time my career had taken off the band had begun their hiatus, there were talks for years of them coming back and I’d get the typical “ will ya go with them” but it always seemed beyond me. That all changed in 2022.
I’m a Backline Technician and Guitar Tech with the Saw Doctors. That means my job is to ensure that everything that goes onto that stage is in proper working order.
Going from doing sound for smaller 800 cap venues to walking out onto stages with over 15000 people is nothing short of breathtaking. It’s a job I thoroughly enjoy and the crew and bad are all wonderful people to be around. The atmosphere is electric 24/7.
